What does it mean to be disabled part time in a job context?

Being 'Disabled Part Time' typically refers to individuals with disabilities who are employed in part-time positions. This arrangement can offer flexible hours and accommodations to support their specific needs, allowing them to balance work with health requirements or other commitments. Employers may provide adjustments such as modified workspaces, flexible schedules, or assistive technologies. These positions can be found across various industries and can help individuals with disabilities maintain employment while managing their well-being.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part-time worker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part-Time Worker, you generally need reliability, time management, and basic job-specific skills, which may vary depending on the industry. Familiarity with tools or systems such as point-of-sale terminals, scheduling software, or industry-appropriate technology is often required. Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork help part-time employees integrate quickly and contribute effectively. These skills and qualities are important because they enable part-time staff to perform efficiently, support team goals, and maintain a positive work environment despite reduced hours.

What types of accommodations are commonly available for disabled candidates working part-time, and how can I request them during the hiring process?

Many employers are committed to supporting disabled part-time employees by offering reasonable accommodations such as flexible scheduling, modified workspaces, assistive technologies, and remote work options. If you need accommodations, it's best to communicate your needs early—typically during the application or interview stage—so the employer can make the necessary arrangements. Territory Sales Representative - Entry Level / Part-Time (3 Days/Week)
LOUISVILLE KY
Break Into Pharmaceutical Sales with Pivya® at ImpactBio supporting Alembic Therapeutics
Do you have work experience that demonstrates drive, energy, and transferable skills that will lead to being a strong salesperson?
If you are looking to launch a career in pharmaceutical sales, this is your opportunity!
Alembic Therapeutics, in partnership with ImpactBio, is launching Pivya®, an FDA-approved oral antibiotic for uncomplicated urinary tract infections (uUTIs). With over 40 years of success in Sweden, Pivya® is now entering the U.S. market-and we're building a high-performance sales team to support this launch.
As a part-time Territory Sales Representative (3 days per week), you don't need prior pharmaceutical sales experience-we're looking for motivated, coachable individuals who are eager to learn, follow a proven sales model, and break into the industry. This role offers a structured, field-based schedule and is designed for high-potential candidates who want hands-on experience and a clear path into full-time pharmaceutical sales.
High performers who demonstrate strong sales results and consistent execution will have the opportunity to earn their way into a full-time role.
This role is with ImpactBio, a premier commercial partner in Life Sciences, with the potential to expand into a full-time opportunity or transition to Alembic Therapeutics based on strong performance.
