CEI Jr. Level Construction Inspector – Florence, SC
Parrish amp; Partners is hiring a Junior Level Construction Inspector for our CEI operations in South Carolina. To excel you should have an appetite for solving problems, a preference for working outdoors, unwavering integrity, the ability to effectively communicate changes to clients and contractors, and be meticulous in electronic documentation. Let’s talk if you have a high school diploma or higher, and a desire to learn road and bridge construction inspection. Key job responsibilities include:
  • Obtaining SCDOT inspection certifications
  • Performing inspection and testing of road and bridge construction under the direction of a senior inspector
  • Reviewing construction plans and documents
  • Documenting inspection notes and test results
  • Collecting and transporting test samples
  • Safely storing and using tools and equipment
Certain functions of the job will require candidates to perform various duties with hand tools and inspection equipment. The job will require stooping and standing throughout the workday, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds. This position may require overnight travel. A valid driver’s license is required.
