Disability Services of Oregon is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our team located in the vibrant city of Corvallis, Oregon. This full-time position involves providing hands-on therapy and rehabilitation support in a specialized Rehabilitation Center that focuses on enhancing the mobility and overall quality of life of our patients. Your work environment will be onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, where collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is fostered. • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 patients per week, averaging 7 patients daily. Conduct initial evaluations and develop customized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Utilize hands-on therapeutic techniques to help alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and improve functional capabilities for patients with varying conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on safe and effective home exercise programs to reinforce therapeutic gains and promote self-management practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in compliance with industry standards and regulations, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Collaborate closely with other rehabilitation professionals, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

The Rehabilitation Center primarily serves adult and geriatric populations, including individuals recovering from surgeries, strokes, and other mobility-affecting conditions. Many patients may have complex medical histories requiring tailored assessments and interventions to meet their unique rehabilitation needs. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals toward functional independence and improved quality of life.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required, although new graduates are encouraged to apply for this supportive environment.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is an advantage.
• An unblemished professional license is essential for this role.

• Demonstrated expertise in geriatric care and rehabilitation would be beneficial.
• Experience designing and implementing holistic treatment plans that improve patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Ability to assess and adapt therapeutic interventions for patients with diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.
