Disability Services of Oregon is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team in Beaverton, Oregon. This full-time position requires a commitment to enhancing the lives of our patients through targeted physical therapy interventions.

Our rehabilitation facility offers an onsite work setting that promotes teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance while contributing to meaningful patient outcomes. The facility is equipped with advanced therapy tools and resources, ensuring you have the means to deliver effective treatments.

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for 35 patients weekly, which translates to approximately 7 patients each day, ensuring each assessment leads to a tailor-made recovery plan.
• Administer hands-on therapy sessions focusing on improving mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing patients' daily functions, ensuring the careful application of manual therapy techniques.
• Educate patients and their families on proper home exercises and lifestyle adaptations, fostering independence and engagement in their rehabilitation process.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, adhering to compliance standards and utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and communication.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care plans, ensuring holistic approaches to therapy.

This role primarily focuses on geriatric patients, many of whom require specialized care due to conditions such as arthritis, mobility restrictions, or recovery from surgeries. Understanding the unique needs of this population is essential in delivering compassionate and effective therapy that not only addresses physical limitations but also enhances overall life satisfaction.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience, although new graduates with a strong foundational knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques that enhance patient treatment plans.
• Experience utilizing EMR systems; familiarity with WebPT is preferred.
• A clean and active professional license with no disciplinary actions.

Candidates with previous experience working in a rehabilitation facility, particularly in geriatric care, will be highly preferred. Additional certifications in specialties such as orthopedics or neurological rehabilitation will be considered an asset.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
