Familiarity with assistive technologies, incident reporting systems, and basic first aid is often required. Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for effectively supporting clients with varying needs. These skills and qualities are crucial to provide safe, respectful, and empowering care that enhances the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time employees working in disability support roles, and how can they be managed?

Part-time employees in disability support roles often face challenges such as balancing a flexible schedule with clients' needs, managing emotional stress, and ensuring continuity of care.
