This position is part of the VBA MDE (Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disabilities Examinations) program.

  • Start date: ASAP Pending Training & Credentialing
  • Schedule: Part Time, M-F
  • C&P exams (Compensation and Pension exams); No treatment and no prescribing involved
  • Gain valuable professional experience and work closely with America’s heroes

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams related to a Veteran's disability claim for Audiology.
  • Exams are a comprehensive audio exam for assessing hearing loss or tinnitus.
  • Common testing includes Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing and speech recognition.
  • All equipment necessary to perform duties will be available on-site with custom soundproof booths.

What You’ll Need to Qualify for this Role:

  • Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D)
  • Doctorate degree from a university accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA Certification
  • Audiologist with licensure in good standing
  • Preferred prior experience in clinical settings and experience assessing Veterans
