Job description

Key responsibilities
Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives on turning plans into consistent, repeatable execution? Do you want to build a career in marketing and business development within a high-performing wealth management practice?
We're looking for a Client Associate to:
• Run the team's weekly referral review and maintain the Client Referral Tracker and Opportunity Tracker, keeping every referral request and introduction documented and on schedule
• Coordinate referral, COI, and prospect outreach on the Advisor's behalf - scheduling touchpoints and preparing outreach materials and communications
• Maintain the team's centers-of-influence (COI) nurture cadence and introduction tracking
• Own the team's marketing scorecard and CRM data hygiene - logging weekly and monthly activity, tagging every new relationship with its source, and keeping records accurate and current
• Coordinate the team's content production and posting workflow with outside vendors (video, design), compliance, and the internal team
• Support event logistics for the team's client and prospect dinners and networking events - guest lists, invitations, and post-event follow-up tracking
• Manage the team's marketing materials, templates, and intellectual property library
• Collaborate with the team's relationship managers and marketing advisor to keep execution aligned with the quarterly plan

The team
You will be working with a DC-based Private Wealth Management team serving UHNW families. We are dedicated to helping families thrive by providing a truly exceptional experience. Our team culture centers around leadership, collaboration, accountability and continuous growth. You will be surrounded by high performers, challenged, given opportunities, and encouraged to grow.
You will work closely with the team's Advisor, Relationship Managers, and outside marketing advisor to execute a defined system - this is a role built to run established processes well, with real opportunity to grow into broader business development responsibility as you build experience in the wealth management space.
Your skills and experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
• ideally 2-4 years of experience in marketing coordination, business development support, or client service, ideally within financial or professional services
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through on recurring processes
• Strong writing skills - comfortable drafting outreach emails, social posts, and content summaries
• Proficient with CRM systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and general marketing/content tools
• Comfortable creating simple graphics and visual materials - event invitations, presentation decks, LinkedIn graphics - using tools like Canva or PowerPoint
• Comfortable using generative AI tools to support research, analysis, and documentation
• Comfortable working independently to run weekly and monthly cadences without close supervision
• Discretion and professionalism handling confidential ultra-high-net-worth client information
• Eager to learn the wealth management business and grow into greater business development scope over time

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - District of Columbia - Washington, D.C. min USD 75000 - max USD 90000 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
