WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Working directly as a Developmental Disability Aid, you will be able to assist in a residential setting and/or community-based setting. The (caregiver/mentor) is responsible for providing:

  • Provide direct personal care or mentoring with daily activities to those we support in a manner that promotes independent living. Some examples include helping with meals, cleaning, transportation, and facilitating fun social activities.
  • Aids provide hands-on mentoring to those we serve to help them become more independent.
  • Provide safe, confidential, and respectful services.
  • Document individual supported plan goals.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED certificate and or take a literacy test
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance
