DUTIES

To assist with general ledger functions and administrative staff of the Finance Department as well as perform accounting functions in accordance with standards set by the Chief Financial Officer.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent in experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Superior analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various finance or administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to protect confidential information in compliance with DDOK policies and Federal and State Privacy and Security Regulations.
  • Excellent ten key skills
  • Ability to type 35 wpm
  • Min. 5000 ksph alpha data entry
  • Min. 8000 ksph numeric data entry
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products to make word processing, spreadsheet and graphic documents.
  • Knowledge of accounting guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
