Responsibilities for a Data Entry Clerk include but are not limited to:

  • Accurately enter data from scanned images and original documents using a full keyboard and numeric keypad.

  • Process transactions according to customer instructions and system screen prompts while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

  • Review and acknowledge out-of-balance transactions and identify potential processor or remitter errors.

  • Complete assigned work within customer deadlines and report computer system issues as needed.

Candidates for Data Entry Clerk must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Minimum data entry speed of 8,400 KSPH (Keystrokes Per Hour) with score listed on resume.

  • Previous data entry, clerical, administrative, or keyboarding experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain production and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient PC skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively in a team setting.

  • Must be able to work scheduled holidays and overtime when required.

  • No time off permitted during the first 90 days of assignment.
