Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities. As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (9006 Yellow Brick Road, Rosedale, MD)

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour (dependent upon experience and license type) + $1.00/hr Shift Differential

Available Schedule: 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am (M-F) with rotating weekends 

(first four weeks must be available to work a 9 am – 5:30 or 2pm-10:30 pm training schedule)

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
  • Efficient order entry and follow-up
  • Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
  • Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must work with urgency and timeliness
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy required
 Skills & Abilities:
  • Order entry experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
