Job Description

  • Manage sophisticated civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution.
  • Develop litigation strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal analysis.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to a supportive team culture.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while balancing multiple active matters.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Active Alabama Bar license or ability to obtain admission.
  • 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience independently handling cases from start to finish.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Courtroom, mediation, and negotiation experience.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Prior law firm, in-house, or solo practice experience considered.
