Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Landscape Architect to be based in Los Angeles, California.
This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:
  • Play an active role in the design process from concept through construction.
  • Assist in the preparation of graphic design and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with project team members across disciplines.
  • Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Landscape Architecture degree (BLA/BSLA/MLA) from an LAAB accredited institution and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional Landscape Architecture experience.
  • Actively pursuing licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to proactively solve challenges.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino3D).
  • Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Collaborate with project team members across disciplines.
  • LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials.
  • Familiarity with Southern California native and climate-appropriate plant communities.
  • Experience preparing construction documents.
  • Experience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit, Grasshopper3D, ArcGIS).
  • Experience with advanced visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray).
