Job description

Overview of Role

We are searching for a seasoned Digital Workspace Architect to lead and define the next generation of enterprise collaboration. You will serve as the principal technical authority, driving complex, high-impact digital transformation initiatives. A core responsibility is expertly leading and architecting large-scale platform migrations from the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to Google Workspace, requiring proven hands-on experience and deep proficiency in both environments.

Beyond migration, this position offers the chance to pioneer advanced automation and AI solutions. You will architect sophisticated workflows using Google Apps Script, AppSheet, and cutting-edge AI Agentic Frameworks, leveraging technologies like Vertex AI to automate complex business processes and create significant operational efficiencies. This Architect will also play a critical, client-facing role in pre-sales, serving as a strategic advisor to validate solutions and inform technical roadmaps. If you are ready to apply your deep architectural expertise to not only transform client platforms but also shape the strategic direction of emerging AI-driven workplaces, this is a distinct opportunity for leadership and innovation.

Responsibilities

Strategic Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Lead and architect complex, enterprise-scale data migrations, specifically from Microsoft 365/Exchange environments to Google Workspace, ensuring data integrity, minimal disruption, and successful user adoption.
  • Act as the lead technical authority on flagship client projects, architecting sophisticated solutions using Google Apps Script, APIs, low-code platforms, and emerging AI Agentic Frameworks.
  • Lead the architecture of AI Agent solutions, defining agentic workflows, tool integration, memory systems, and governance models to automate complex business processes.
  • Develop robust governance models, security frameworks, and technical roadmaps that encompass platform migrations, existing systems, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Create and evangelize architectural best practices for the entire digital workplace, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and adopted by users.

Pre-Sales & Client Advisory

  • Function as a key technical strategist during the pre-sales cycle, validating solutions and providing expert estimates for migration projects, platform enhancements, and AI initiatives.
  • Join client-facing workshops to uncover opportunities for transformation, from initial platform selection to advanced automation.
  • Contribute to the technical sections of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring accuracy and feasibility for complex migration scopes.

Practice Development & Thought Leadership

  • Act as a key mentor and technical escalation point for the digital workplace team, especially on migration and coexistence strategies.
  • Identify and help develop new service offerings and intellectual property related to migrations, automation, and AI agents.
  • Analyze industry trends in both platform migration and generative AI to inform the strategic direction of the practice.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
  • Proven, hands-on experience leading multiple large-scale migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, including mail, calendar, contacts, and files (OneDrive and SharePoint to Google Drive).
  • Expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Intune, Entra ID).
  • Deep architectural and administrative proficiency with the Google Workspace platform.
  • Hands-on development experience using Google Apps Script and integrating with various APIs (e.g., Google Cloud, Microsoft Graph), with a proven ability to create strong documentation.
  • Direct experience building business applications and solutions with Google AppSheet.
  • Proven experience contributing to pre-sales efforts in a client-facing consulting role.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to client sites as needed for key workshops and meetings, with an expectation of up to 25%.
  • Experience with third-party migration tools (e.g., CloudM, MoveBot, CloudFuze, Cloudiway, Google Workspace Migrate).
  • Certifications such as:
    • Google Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect
    • Google Cloud Certified: Associate Google Workspace Administrator
Preferred
  • Demonstrable experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Identity, BigQuery) to build custom solutions or integrations.
  • Experience with enterprise migrations between Microsoft and Google platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience architecting and deploying production-grade AI agents on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes hands-on experience with Vertex AI Agent Builder, leveraging Gemini models for reasoning, implementing function calling to invoke tools (e.g., Cloud Functions), and building RAG systems with Vertex AI Search and Conversation.
  • Certifications such as:
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
    • Microsoft Certified: Solutions Architect Expert
    • Google Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect
    • Google Cloud Certified: Associate Google Workspace Administrator
    • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner
