A Director at a VC-backed startup is typically a senior leader responsible for managing specific departments or functions, such as operations, marketing, or product development. Their role involves setting strategic goals, driving execution, and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives. Directors often collaborate closely with founders, investors, and cross-functional teams to accelerate growth and navigate the challenges unique to startups funded by venture capital.
