Overview

The Associate Director, Value Management role helps to analyze efficiency and effectiveness gains across Publicis agencies and their clients. We are seeking a driven individual, whose media expertise, communication, and problem-solving skills that can add value to our highly visible team.  Multi-tasking and prioritization are important skills, to move from project to project, as new tasks come up. 

This position offers an unmatched opportunity to work closely with multiple agencies and activation leaders within the US and globally to inform decision-making, improve operations, and drive performance.

The Associate Director on the Value Management Team will support with new business pitches across all Publicis Agencies, focusing on pricing and strategic approaches to pricing submissions. The AD will also support with Accountability tracking of value commitments made. 

Responsibilities

Rate & Data Management

  • Support in all areas of rate management and data governance, developing and implementing companywide best practices across all media channels
  • Support in ad hoc requests or client direct requests pertaining to rates and value
  • Development & Ownership of internal database(s) to support day to day needs for pitches and savings
  • Apply tactical approach to rate benchmarking, accounting for market intelligence of clients

New Business & Commitment Tracking(Accountability)

  • Key contributor in New Business pricing submissions, working with PMX and agency leads to determine pricing strategies for competitive pitch submissions. Support in development of value commitments and measurement tactics
  • Work closely with Value Management team leads to communicate with agency investment and consultant point of contacts to savings methodologies used to measure value performance commitments
  • Oversee savings and quality tracking programs; engage with agency leads to monitor impact to performance, and proactively propose solutions for risk avoidance

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Work with PMX directors and agency buying/planning teams to collect, analyze, and present spend and value commitment forecasts across PMX agencies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in advertising or marketing
  • 6+ Years of media agency experience; buying or planning preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of Mediaocean (Prisma/OX)
  • Advanced Excel experience and data management
  • Experienced with PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of 3rd party media market tools such as Kantar, SMI, SQAD a plus
  • Media Audit Experience required, for savings/value performance or general media audits
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong interest in process improvement
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, must be a self-starter that can balance competing priorities

Compensation Range: $105,165 - $165,485 annually This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
