Job description

Job Purpose:
- Provide a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for park guests while offering exceptional guest service. This role requires a quick "hustle" to efficiently move between areas of the Valet Operations, ensuring a seamless experience for guests. The Valet Parking Attendant/Driver will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated TEAM to uphold the standards of PARKING MANAGEMENT SERVICES Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet area, ensuring all operations run smoothly.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide directions or information about the park as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring the safety of guests and their vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient valet operations and exceptional guest service.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any damage or issues to management immediately.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with guests and team members.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a driving job or hospitality industry
- Must have held a valid driver's license for 2 years or more
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient driving skills with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure exceptional guest experience
- Strong teamwork abilities to effectively work as part of a team
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Quick and efficient in performing duties, with the ability to hustle between different areas of Valet Operations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1)Must be able to remain upright continuously on a hard surface for an 8-10 hour shift.
2)Must be able to move a minimum of 25 pounds up to 5 feet high without the aid of another person.
3)Must be able to position one's self appropriately in order to efficiently move from one area to another including other garages several blocks away.
4)Must be able to talk, clearly communicate, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise.
5)Must be able to visually identify numbers, colors & shapes, including peripheral
6)Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; use repeating motions more than twice per minute; repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner.
7)Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight,heat or cold; work in extreme heat (non-weather); use motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business; maintain a valid driver's license.
