JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of ZoeLife the Performance Center Specialist will assist in maintaining the overall day-to-day running of the Performance Center.  Must be able to fluently communicate in or to take or give direction or guidance in the English language. 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY

The Performance Center Specialist will have knowledge of the practices and procedures in fitness training and possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to understand written and oral instructions.  Effective in establishing and maintaining rapport with staff, residents, outside vendors, and clients.  Must possess a genuine interest in and concern for geriatric, chronically ill, and/or disabled persons.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Regular attendance is considered an essential function of this position and is necessary for the efficient operation of the business.
  2. Responsible for opening, closing and securing the facilities.
  3. Monitors access to the Performance Center.  
  4. Greets newcomers and helps them prepare for their assessment, answer any inquiries, and provide a welcoming environment.
  5. Responsible to coordinate and execute beta groups for residents and employees. 
  6. Responsible to demonstrates knowledge of basic exercise routines and monitors residents progress through training to include set up and support of trainers.
  7. Regularly sanitizes all equipment, Performance Center and University classroom.
  8. Manages cleanliness and sales of products in the juice bar, responsible to ensure inventory is ordered, required to stock and maintain supplies, preparing smoothies and properly set up product displays for sales.
  9. Responsible to manage and assist residents with virtual reality equipment and programs. 
  10. Responsible for back end software implementation and maintenance of related performance center apps. 
  11. Maintains a daily Performance Center log.
  12. Concierge for guests taking part in the PIP and PIP Golf programs.
  13. Records attendance and manages registration for the University room lectures.
  14. Manages communication including emails, phone calls, and prompt response to voicemails.
  15. Assist in the preparation of packets, letters and fliers.
  16. Responsible to coordinate resident volunteer program.
  17. Responsible to manage and track resident certification requirements for graduation of Glencroft University program and volunteer hours. 
  18. Organizes and maintains files in a confidential manner.
  19. Supports and participates in the ZoeLife marketing and editorial committee. 
  20. Responsible to assist marketing in all social and digital marketing efforts related to ZoeLife and CFMA.
  21. Performs other duties as assigned.
