Reporting Structure:

The Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Maintenance.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated project plans i.e. Gantt Charts, Project reports, Budget vs. Actual reports, Overtime reports, Parts Shortage reports, etc.
  • Implement schedules for short term, long term, and major projects
  • Determine appropriate manpower requirements to effectively manage project
  • Prepare and manage project budget and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis
  • Understand and implement all contract conditions
  • Act as direct liaison between the Vendors / Customers / and Lead hands, and responsible for coordinating minor additions to work package.
  • Responsible to monitor and ensure that all personnel, parts, and engineering needs are being procured on time and on budget
  • Liaise with all business units and production personnel (Sales, Planning, Quality Assurance, etc.) to ensure every aspect of the project is complete and on schedule
  • Provide on the job instructions to Lead Hands
  • Responsible to ensure the paperwork moves through process in a timely fashion
  • Maintain schedules for aircraft assigned and report any variances to production manager and/or Director of Maintenance
  • Anticipate, react, and report potential production interruptions and aid in recovery to minimize production loss
  • Monitor and report the status of the project on a regular basis
  • Hold daily hangar floor crew meetings to provide context to all crew members and communicate any potential issues with the project and review safety with the crews
  • Responsible to ensure project is completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor and evaluate program and project effectiveness and effect changes required for improvement utilizing a post mortem analysis
  • Assist Director of Maintenance in administering performance reviews, salary recommendations, and corrective progressive discipline
  • Assist in monitoring the efficiency and productivity of crew members work and report any issues to the Production Manager and/or Director of Maintenance

General Duties:

  • Review and be fully familiarized with all aspects of Avmax's RSQC Manual. Compliance with the manual's policy and procedure are mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • Project Management Certificate completion or enrollment (preferred).
