Auto Body Technician

Freeman Auto Body of Portland | Tesla Certified + Subaru Certified

Freeman Auto Body of Portland is looking for an experienced, quality-driven Auto Body Technician to join our high-volume, modern collision repair facility.

This is a rare opportunity to join a Tesla Certified and Subaru Certified shop with strong workflow, modern equipment, continued investment in training, and excellent earning potential.

This is a flat-rate style pay position — technicians who are efficient, productive, and consistently turn quality work have excellent earning potential.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform high-quality collision repairs from start to finish
  • Restore damaged vehicles to OEM specifications
  • Remove and replace stationary panels, door skins, and structural components
  • Perform plastic repair using adhesive and plastic welding processes
  • Replace corrosion protection and apply seam sealer to OEM standards
  • Thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles
  • Follow OEM repair procedures, Alldata, I-CAR, and company standards
  • Participate in daily production meetings and collaborate with the team
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work area
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of collision repair experience
  • Strong knowledge of complete auto body repair from start to finish
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, flat-rate environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Additional OEM and industry certifications are a plus
Preferred Certifications
  • I-CAR Aluminum Welding Certification
  • I-CAR Steel Welding Certification
  • Other welding certifications strongly preferred
  • Tesla, Subaru, or other OEM certification experience is a major plus
