Job description

Account Strategy Director
Remote (U.S. only) | $95,000-$110,000 + Benefits
About the Role
Location3 is looking for a strategist who has found their footing in agency life and is ready to own it. You've managed client relationships, built performance marketing programs across paid and organic channels, and know how to bring internal teams together around a shared goal.
This role sits at the center of client strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and performance accountability. You'll work alongside paid media, SEO, analytics, and technology specialists to build integrated programs for franchise and multi-location brands, and you'll be the person responsible for making sure it all comes together.
What You'll Do
Own the strategic relationship for a portfolio of franchise and multi-location accounts. You set the direction, lead the client conversations, and drive outcomes.
Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies that connect national brand priorities to local market performance, with clear KPIs, testing plans, and a defined path to optimization.
Work cross-functionally with paid search, paid social, SEO, analytics, and technology teams to align execution with strategy and keep client goals at the center of every decision.
Lead QBRs, performance reviews, and client presentations with a point of view, not just a report. You'll explain what happened, why it happened, and what should happen next.
Identify growth opportunities proactively, whether that's channel expansion, budget reallocation, or new service initiatives.
Manage budget pacing, scope changes, and SOW alignment in partnership with internal leadership.
What You'll Bring
7+ years in digital marketing, with solid agency experience. You know how agencies operate and how to contribute within that environment.
Strong working knowledge of paid media (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic) and SEO. Familiarity with GA4, Power BI, and marketing automation tools.
Experience managing client relationships and presenting to marketing stakeholders with confidence.
Exposure to franchise, multi-location, or complex distributed client structures is a plus.
Analytical instincts. You can read performance data, find what matters, and turn it into clear recommendations.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, align specialists across disciplines, and drive workstreams from planning through execution.
Why Location3
Location3 has been in business for 25 years, and our client retention reflects how seriously we take the work. You'll join a collaborative, remote-first team where strategists have real ownership and room to grow.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, wellbeing stipends, and remote work support.
Location3 is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
