Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily receiving, picking and cycle counting in the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will oversee Department Leads and assist with overall warehouse responsibilities. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with all operation leaders to ensure they have the adequate material to fulfill orders. Management level data reporting and ERP work is also required.

Essential Functions

  1. Oversee a one shift warehouse
  2. Work with Department Leads and Warehouse Associates to resolve any issues or conflicts
  3. Monitor picking accuracy and error rate
  4. Perform daily reporting requirements (inventory accuracy, order verification, Upload/Download issues, ASN problems)
  5. Perform weekly reporting requirements
  6. Work with IT to trouble shoot Syteline (ERP) and IRMS (WMS) connectivity.
  7. Work to achieve 95% on-time delivery to internal customers (operational departments).
  8. Manage daily performance of team to reach 99.92% Picking Accuracy
  9. Manage the IT infrastructure of the warehouse (wireless RF scanners)
  10. Manage the service calls and repairs of the fork truck fleet
  11. Manage consignment inventory and processes
  12. Oversee CDL drivers & ensure routes are being covered when picking up/dropping off material

Supervisory Responsibility

Supervision of 2 direct reports – Rest of team reports directly to both department leaders ( team size of 22 total).

Physical Demands
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee will be on his/her feet for up to 8 hours per day. It will require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, etc. The employee may need to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time salaried position, which will result in at least 40 hours of work per week. The workdays will be Monday through Friday & some Saturday’s will be required.

The warehouse manager will report directly to the General Manager of the facility.

Travel

No Travel will be required for this position.

Required Education and Experience

Associates or Bachelor level degree

5+ years of warehouse experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Managing direct reports.

Experience working with internal and external customers.

Able to work directly with operations & other cross functional teams.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Experience with ERPs and WMS (warehouse management software).

Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
