Responsibilities:
• Managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Technical (hands-on) experience related to Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements determination, development, and implementation.
• Experience in security systems engineering involving various computer hardware and software operating system and application solutions in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations.
• Experience with IA vulnerability testing and related network and system test tools; e.g., Retina, NMap, Nessus, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).
• Experience with information security toolset including anti-virus, Vulnerability Assessment.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
• Design new data structures and integrations based on summary business requirements; Skilled at defining and executing self-directed work.
• Develop/design ETL strategies for integrating data from multiple sources into transactional and analytics systems.
• Understand and adhere to best practice development standards.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment (agile-based projects).
• Understand and complete necessary documentation for the application/infrastructure change control process.
• Technological understanding/experience associated with cloud computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
• 15+ years of technical experience in related field.
• Systems Engineer experience including: Managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure. Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Technical (hands-on) experience related to Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements determination, development, and implementation.
