Description

Senior Commercial Agency Services Specialist is responsible for administering complex commercial loan transactions, including syndicated and commercial real estate (CRE) facilities. This role ensures accurate and timely loan servicing, supports construction lending activities, and maintains compliance with credit agreements and regulatory requirements.  The candidate should have deep experience processing transactions within LoanIQ. The candidate should also have knowledge of finance related to loan and GL transactions along with experience in performing daily reconciliations. This position calls for direct client interaction (borrowers and lenders) and internal stakeholders. Therefore, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency in completing initiatives and requests that are critical to the health of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Real Estate & Construction Oversight

  • Manage construction draw processes, including review of budgets, inspection reports, and disbursement requests
  • Validate funding requests against loan terms and project milestones
  • Track project progress, ensuring timely and compliant disbursements
  • Support administration of interest reserves, capital expenditure and escrow accounts

Loan Servicing & Agency Administration

  • Maintain and service a portion of the bank's loan portfolio where we serve as the Administrative Agent for syndicated deals.
  • Process loan transactions, including fundings, paydowns, rollovers, and payoff calculations
  • Coordinate and distribute required notices to participants and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to credit agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience

  • 5-10+ years of experience in:
  • Commercial loan servicing or agency services
  • Syndicated lending or CRE loan administration
  • Construction Loan Servicing (strongly preferred)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of:
  • Commercial loan structures and credit agreements
  • Syndicated loan servicing and agency responsibilities
  • Commercial real estate and construction lending practices Prior experience in an agent bank or lead administrative role
  • Experience with loan servicing systems (e.g., Loan IQ strongly preferred)
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes
