The Position: Surgery Director

Employment status: Full Time

Hours per two-week pay period: 80

Compensation: $106,080 Per year starting salary, aligned with internal pay structure and experience

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee nursing staffing levels, scheduling and assignments to meet patient care needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Manage nursing budgets, expenses, and resources effectively, optimizing cost-efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide clinical expertise, consultation, and support to nurses in complex patient cases or challenging situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years nursing management experience

Education

  • BSN preferred

Certifications and Licenses

  • Active MT nursing license
  • AORN preferred

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Surgery Director to join our I CARE team in the Surgery Department setting. Essential duties of the position include overall management and leadership of the surgery department, ensures the delivery of high-quality nursing care, and financial management of the department.
