  • Responsible for the structural design and analysis for commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial building projects.
  • Facilitate direct communications with Architects and Owners.
  • Work with technical staff, including Structural designers/EITs and BIM production staff, to coordinate with architects, owners and contractors.
  • Support production of contract drawings.
  • Review of shop drawings, conduct periodic site visits during structure erection and generating written reports.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis)
  • Current holder of, or eligible for state-issued license as Professional Engineer in Texas
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial building design
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
