Overview

The Director, Strategy & Growth for Crocs, Inc. (Crocs and HEYDUDE) is responsible for crafting and advancing enterprise growth priorities across brands, channels, and regions. Reporting to the VP, Growth & Strategy, this role acts as a senior strategic partner to executive leadership. It leads high-impact initiatives from opportunity framing through executive alignment and activation. The Director will build strategy capability across the function, develop talent, influence cross-functional decision-making, and translate long-term growth opportunities into clear actions that drive balanced enterprise value. Our mission is to compete, innovate, and grow flawlessly in a dynamic market.

What You'll Do
  • Set the enterprise growth agenda by partnering with senior and executive leaders to identify, prioritize, and advance the highest-value strategic opportunities across Crocs, HEYDUDE, and Crocs, Inc.
  • Lead central initiatives from concept through activation, framing ambiguous business questions, structuring workstreams, making trade-off recommendations, and enabling cross-functional execution.
  • Influence executive decision-making by translating market, consumer, competitive, operating, and financial insights into simple, board-ready narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across brand, product, marketing, channel, finance, operations, and regions to move strategic choices into owned plans, measurable achievements, and clear accountabilities.
  • Champion talent and build strategic capability by mentoring team members, setting direction for project teams, developing structured problem-solving, and crafting opportunities for others to lead.
  • Lead change and innovation by evaluating white space, adjacencies, partnerships, M&A, new business models, and other growth platforms that can evolve the portfolio and unlock enterprise value.
  • Establish performance rigor by defining critical metrics, governance, dashboards, and impact tracking to ensure pivotal initiatives deliver balanced results and findings are embedded.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • BS or BA in Business, Economics, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, growth strategy, or a related field, including at least 4 years of management consulting experience; consumer, retail, footwear, or apparel experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-level strategy work from ambiguity to aligned executive decisions and implementation.
  • Strong commercial and financial competence, with depth in market assessment, consumer insights, competitive benchmarking, reason development, and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level, navigate matrixed organizations, and build alignment across functions, brands, regions, and channels without direct authority.
  • Experience developing talent and scaling work through others, including mentoring team members and leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Executive-level communication, storytelling, PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization skills, with the ability to simplify complex analysis into clear choices, recommendations, and actions.

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
