Job description

Company: MissOuri Smelting Technology Inc. (MOST), a part of the Toyota Tsusho America Group.

Location: Troy, Missouri

Job Type: Full-time, Direct-Hire or TEMP thru AEROTEK

Company Overview: MOST is a secondary aluminum recycler that receives, processes, and melts aluminum to produce high quality molten and solid products for use by other industries, including the production of automobile parts


Key Details:

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of production or industrial experience.
  • Experience with operating forklifts and industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to seasonal temperature variations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Delivering molten aluminum
  • Operating furnaces and the ingot casting line.
  • Furnace sampling, tapping and charging
  • Handling molten aluminum, dross, and ladles.
  • Ladle sampling and operating spectrometers

Schedule:

  • Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am).
  • Work Week: Alternating schedule of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next.
  • Overtime: Opportunities are available.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay Rate: Starts at $22.50/hr, with top out at $33.85/hr reached through incremental raises.
  • Additional Earnings:
    • $1.00/hr heat differential in the summer.
    • Night shift differential.
    • Annual Bonus Program.

    • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (begins the 1st of the month after hire).
