Job Description The purpose of this position is to provide technical support/responsibility for moderate to complex project assignments and may be the primary interface with Fluor discipline engineers in Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) Process Technology and its applications project assignments with specialization in Lithium (Spodumene/Hardrock/Clays/Brines) flowsheets and other applications includes metals recycling, water treatment and extractive metallurgy. Job Duties: Apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices in all areas of assignments and May be a areas lead on a project overseeing design of several process areas or units to develop drawings and specifications for study, feasibility, Front End Engineering Development (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC) for these units/systems in specific applications to Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) with specialization in Lithium (Spodumene/Hardrock/Clays/Brines) flowsheets and other applications includes metals recycling, water treatment and extractive metallurgy. Develop specialized process simulation/spreadsheet models and HMB in application Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) for Lithium (Spodumene/Hardrock/Clays/Brines) flowsheets and other commodities as required.

Design, manage and coordinate lab and pilot scale hydrometallurgical test and decipher results to provide summaries and recommendations to client. Provide technical guidance/support on pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup to Fluor and Client teams as required with respect to DLE systems. Use advanced techniques, precepts and practices of the relevant field of process work Represent Process Technology in meetings and conferences related to the execution of the Company's projects Contribute to planning and coordinating work May supervise others and/or be responsible for training of junior Understand Company's market targets and strategic direction; monitor industry developments through sources in the company Review and understand the Project Execution Plan; coordinate with engineering and other disciplines to ensure Process Activity Plan meshes with remainder of team Understand development of schedule logic and effort-hours budgets Assist in developing process design data and criteria Contribute value awareness concepts to Process design in regard to cost focus Perform process studies for more complex systems Develop Heat and Material Balance (H&MB) for more complex process units; prepare Material Selection Diagrams (MSD) Lead internal and external client Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) reviews; interface with external clients Check calculations of others; perform calculations for complex systems Evaluate alternative control strategies in regard to control philosophy and instrument datasheets Evaluate upset conditions on piping line list Participate in bid tab evaluations for complex equipment Prepare more complicated sections of the operating manual; participate in start-up and performance testing in regard to field work Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies May need to travel to attend to business related matters Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience.

Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. Other Job Requirements Experience in DLE (Direct Lithium Extraction)Technology with specialization in Lithium (Spodumene/Hardrock/Clays/Brines) flowsheets.

Certification in any simulation software and spreadsheet simulation experience in Lithium, and hydrometallurgical process flowsheets. Experience in development and delivery of BFD/PFD and SmartPlant P&IDs with specific applications for DLE in various brines Preferred Qualifications Experience in Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) with specialization in Lithium (Spodumene/Hardrock/Clays/Brines) flowsheets and/or any other commodities. Simulation software and spreadsheet simulation experience in Lithium and hydrometallurgical process flowsheets with application of DLE technology.
