Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing activities of the Electrical and Software Engineering teams supporting BWCSโ€™s Vision product lines.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to allocate resources for product development initiatives.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard engineering staff.
  • Manage team workload, priorities, and engineering backlogs.
  • Lead Design Reviews and mentor early-career engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with modern leadership and team development practices.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical and software engineering principles and practices.
  • Software knowledge including C, C++, C#, embedded, Windows, Linux, Git/Github.
  • Vision processing experience including OpenCV, TensorFlow, YOLO.
  • Experience with PCB design, layout, and test; Altium preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally.
