Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately pulling, preparing, and packing customer orders for shipment. This position owns inbound and inventory functions, operates equipment. This role ensures timely and efficient fulfillment of products while maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment. This individual will follow quality standards, ensure efficient stock replenishment, maintain inventory accuracy, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Receiving Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of our DC operations. Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality are essential.


Supervisory Responsibilities

Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities

  • Receives and ships products accurately and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Can perform both International shipping methods and Puerto Rico shipping standards on a daily basis.
  • Receives in and is responsible for accurate Daily Receipts of all LW Inbound Product.
  • Replenishes all LW Product form Pallets to Flow Through Rack inventory to maintain Daily inventory ship requirements for all orders.
  • Performs Weekly Cycle Counts in conjunction with Supervisor approval. Reports Inventory discrepancies immediately to their direct Supervisor.
  • Frequently use the Sit Down and Standup Forklifts throughout the workday.
  • Can perform order fulfillment rate against LifeWave standard KPI Metrics.
  • Maintains accuracy with paperwork and documentation pertaining to shipments such as creating and printing shipping labels, commercial invoices, HTS Code assignment and other documents as needed.
  • Responsible for Daily Customer service inquiries and respond appropriately to those requests and issues.
  • Operates special equipment, following established guideline, including floor scrubbing equipment cleaning equipment.
  • Responsible for completing ongoing training in cGMP, MoCRA regulations, and company quality control procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure thorough understanding of applicable requirements
  • Maintain accurate and accessible documentation for product traceability, inventory transactions, and shipments in compliance with MoCRA and 21 CFR Part 111, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections.
  • Follow strict sanitation protocols in accordance with FDA cGMP and MoCRA standards to uphold product safety and quality.
  • Monitor and respond to environmental conditions in the DC to always safeguard the integrity of stored products.
  • Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming, damaged, or expired products; ensure they are properly labelled and securely stored pending final disposition.
  • Maintains organization, safety and cleanliness in the shipping area and other workspaces by following housekeeping rules and maintaining clean hygiene.
  • Practices safe lifting and ergonomic practices to avoid injury.
  • Follows up on any pending items in a timely manner to their Direct Supervisor.
  • Assists in maintaining control and records for all products.
  • Handles accurate data input into the shared system for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Performs quality assurance checks to verify item accuracy, condition, and packaging requirements.
  • Stays informed and follows the most current internal procedures.
  • Performs all other DC related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is required.
  • Forklift Operation Certification required
  • Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office suite is preferred.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to:

  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently use hands and arms to pick, pack, label, and operate shipping equipment and tools.
  • Frequently push, pull, lift, and carry light supplies and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently perform repetitive motions, including reaching above shoulder level and stooping to retrieve or store items.
  • Occasionally operate carts, pallet jacks, or other light material-handling equipment.
  • Consistently communicate effectively with team members and follow verbal and written instructions.
