Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications and platform features.
  • Build responsive web applications and user experiences using modern frontend technologies.
  • Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
  • Work across frontend, backend, cloud, and platform layers as required.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering standards and development practices.
Required Technical SkillsFrontend Development

    • Component-based architectures
    • State management
    • Frontend performance optimization
    • Responsive UI development
Backend Development
  • Strong experience in:
    • Python and/or Node.js
    • REST API design and development
    • Service-oriented architecture
    • Authentication and authorization patterns

Candidates should be able to discuss:

  • API design principles
  • Endpoint modeling
  • Error handling strategies
  • Scalability considerations
Database Engineering
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience.
  • Data modeling and schema design.
  • Database migration strategies.
  • Query optimization and performance tuning.
Cloud & DevOps
  • AWS experience is required.
  • Understanding of:

  • Experience designing and delivering production-grade applications.
Business Collaboration Skills
  • Comfortable interacting directly with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather requirements and rapidly prototype solutions.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI-enabled applications or LLM integrations.
  • Exposure to platform engineering and enterprise application development.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Frontend-leaning or backend-leaning engineers are acceptable.
  • Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to operate across the full stack.
  • Should be capable of growing into broader full-stack ownership rather than remaining siloed in a single technology area.

we are looking for traditional, strong Fullstack Engineers who possess deep expertise in the following core areas:

  • Modern Frontend: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or comparable frameworks), with a focus on how to properly facilitate a user's interaction with a system to ensure it behaves exactly as expected.
  • Backend & Databases: A solid understanding of RESTful API design (including what should be included in an endpoint), how those endpoints interact with a database, and the importance of using migrations to maintain a database schema.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with AWS, specifically the ability to discuss the architectural tradeoffs between selecting various services (e.g., Lambda vs. Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Resume Ownership: If a technology is listed on their resume, we expect candidates to be comfortable speaking to it in detail and understanding the tradeoffs of the technical decisions they've made.
