Job description

The Financial Services Director provides financial support and information to the parish staff, school staff, Finance Council, Pastoral Council, parish groups/ministries/committees, and the parish-at-large.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide financial oversight to both church and school
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Engage in development activities with parish and school communities to develop capital reserves, special project funding
  • Work to ensure financial stability of the community into the future
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
  • 3- 5 years of work experience in the area ofaccounting, financial analysis, budgeting, fundraising, or similar field.
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ParishSoft
  • Grant writing experience
  • Advanced degree/certificate

Supervises: One full-time and one part-time Financial Associate
