Financial Advisor

Confidential RIA | Minneapolis, MN

A growing independent wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join its Minneapolis office. This role is ideal for an advisor who enjoys comprehensive planning, client service, investment analysis, and working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact for client communications and partner with Lead Advisors to deliver timely, thoughtful responses.
  • Support client relationships through financial planning, investment analysis, portfolio reviews, and ongoing service.
  • Prepare client meeting materials, including cash flow analysis, asset allocation reviews, retirement planning, and other planning deliverables.
  • Evaluate planning opportunities across investments, tax planning, estate planning, risk management, stock options, restricted stock, and wealth transfer.
  • Review and help execute trades, rebalances, wire requests, journals, and other time sensitive client requests.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, present planning topics, and ensure follow up items are completed.
  • Partner with internal specialists and junior team members to deliver coordinated, high quality client advice.
  • Maintain accurate client records, meeting notes, planning updates, and action items within firm systems.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, or a related field preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • CFP, CPA, CFA, or JD strongly preferred or required.
  • Experience supporting affluent or high net worth client relationships preferred.
  • Strong Excel, communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities in a team based environment.
