Job Description:

The Strategic Growth and Advanced Solutions Divisions are seeking a Multi-Function RF Subject Matter expert to shape technical opportunities and investments, while guiding a variety of platform architectural designs to successfully capture opportunity within an expanding AEW&C franchise and a fielded fleet of International Missionized Business Jets (MBJ). ย From driving technical solutions at platform level to establishing implementations on a diverse array of active RF elements and subsystems, the Multi-Function RF Technical Director is empowered to bring state-of-the-art technology to our customers, while solving some of the most challenging defense and intelligence issues facing our FVEYS, NATO and Allied partners worldwide. ย 

Essential Functions:

  • System Design Analysis to guide architectural trades based on RF systems performance.
  • IRAD technical leadership for both industry and customer led demonstrations.
  • Translation of user/customer ConOps into the best-balanced system solutions, including Technical Baseline definition and cost/risk.
  • Research and Development focal with Strategic Suppliers and FFRDC counterparts for Platform utility and force effectiveness/Ops Analysis.
  • Proliferation, scaling and system design integration of latest Active RF offerings across all Engineering disciplines.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI access.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related engineering experience.
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related engineering experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced business knowledge and highest level of technical mastery in functional area.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability to guide business or functional teams without formal management role.
  • Demonstrated experience in defense related development of RF systems, sensors and/or ISR platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in Multi-Function Digital Aperture and Multi-Function Processor technology development.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of project execution best practices.
  • Demonstrated System Engineering fundamentals.
  • Ownership of cost-schedule-technical continuum of execution.
  • Ability to present highly technical topics with confidence, clarity and charisma to Customers and Executive leadership alike.
  • Ability to rapidly become engrained in a fast-moving business wholeness meeting a time to market window of opportunity.
  • Experience with Exportability of technology and systems through both FMS and DCS channels.
