Job description

The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Opportunity available for a 2nd Shift Material Handler in our Apex, NC distribution center. This position operates a forklift to move, load, and unload productsina distribution warehouseenvironment. Work schedule is B shift Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)
  • Use an RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS). 
  • Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials. 
  • Use forklift or powered pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas. 
  • Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers. 
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations. 
  • Follow safety regulations. 
  • Perform other related duties, as required or directed.  
  • All other duties as assigned. 
The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
  • Previous distribution or warehouse experience.
  • Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
