Job description

Role Purpose

To effectively and efficiently assist in the daily operations at the agronomy location. Assist with duties involving bulk plant and warehouse operations. Other duties primarily associated with warehousing, equipment maintenance, hauling grain, tending application equipment, general farm work, custom application, soil sampling, etc. Will also be expected to complete all other duties as assigned by the supervisor while displaying Norder Supply's core values and to fulfill our purpose of assisting our customers in achieving maximum net return per acre.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment as directed by supervisor.
  • Operate all equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Learn how to read pesticide labels and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Effectively complete all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Deliver products to and from other locations and customers.
  • Meet DOT requirements, properly fill out time sheets and log books.
  • Notify the supervisor of any repairs needed to the delivery equipment.
  • Operate forklifts, scales, pumps, and all other equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Load/unload deliveries and help organize loads and inventories.
  • Fill bulk containers and package chemicals also handle NH3, dry, and liquid fertilizer.
  • Operate bulk seed treatment equipment.
  • Maintain all aspects of equipment and facilities so that they are in excellent working condition for their respective seasons. Such equipment may include but is not limited to nurse trailers, anhydrous trailers, dry fertilizer equipment, bulk chemical and fertilizer facilities, tending and application equipment, warehouse, office, ground, vehicles, and all other equipment.


Critical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of equipment and tractor-trailer operations

  • Knowledge of Worker Protection Standards
  • General maintenance knowledge

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements

Critical Experience
