• Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting at our detox center, evaluating their mental health history and specific needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement result-driven, evidence-based interventions that enhance client well-being and facilitate recovery from substance use and related mental health issues.
• Document clinical interactions meticulously, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance standards while using electronic health record systems.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising physicians, nurses, and fellow social workers to deliver holistic, integrated care.
• Provide education and counseling to clients and their families, fostering coping strategies and resilience through life’s challenges.
• Remain informed about the latest developments in mental health, including best practices in trauma-informed care, to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.

The primary clientele served at our detox center includes individuals grappling with substance use disorders, often alongside mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate and evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to the unique contexts of our clients.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license is required to practice in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy and trauma-informed care practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills aimed at establishing therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Exemplary problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to effectively address client needs and therapeutic interventions.

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to enhance service delivery.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral options available for clients transitioning out of detox services.
