Are you an operational leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, improving business processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We're looking for an Director of Business Services to lead our centralized Business Services organization and help shape the future of operational excellence across our national footprint.

This leadership role oversees the National Service Center and National Accounts Construction administrative support teams, ensuring consistent, efficient, and scalable service delivery that enables our business units to succeed.

What You'll Do

As Executive Director of Business Services, you will:

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for the National Business Services organization, including the National Service Center and National Accounts Construction support teams.
  • Build a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational efficiency by optimizing workflows, standardizing processes, and implementing scalable solutions that improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and mentor leaders while strengthening organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Establish meaningful performance metrics and use data-driven insights to improve service quality, responsiveness, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Business Unit leaders to ensure centralized services meet operational needs while maintaining consistent corporate standards.
  • Serve as the executive liaison between Business Units, Corporate departments, and customer development teams to ensure seamless execution and communication.
  • Lead executive-level customer communications and serve as the escalation point for complex operational issues.
  • Remove barriers to collaboration and improve alignment across departments to increase organizational efficiency.
  • Champion innovation through technology adoption, process improvement, and operational best practices.
  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure Business Services is positioned for long-term success.
What You Bring

Qualifications include:

  • Proven success leading multiple operational, business services, or shared services functions within a multi-location organization.
  • Strong experience improving workflows, implementing scalable processes, and driving measurable operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leaders, build high-performing teams, and create strong succession plans.
  • Experience managing organizational resources and aligning staffing with changing business priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with the executive presence to effectively manage senior leadership discussions and customer relationships.
  • Experience using ERP, CRM, project management, and reporting systems to support business operations.
  • Ability to successfully lead organizational change while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to integrity, professionalism, accountability, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business services, shared services, customer support, commercial construction, roofing, facilities services, or a related industry.
  • 5+ years leading managers or multiple functional departments within a decentralized, multi-location organization.
  • Demonstrated success improving operational performance, customer experience, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience implementing performance metrics, operational standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead change, develop leaders, and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience supporting national accounts or centralized business service organizations is preferred.
