This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

All Positions:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or closely related field plus two(2) years' experience as an Auditor or equivalent.
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
Performance Auditor 4: General business experience in the subject area of the audit function.
Senior Performance Auditor 4: Minimum of two years' experience and able to demonstrate the ability to accurately, efficiently, independently, and professionally perform all of the tasks required of the "Performance Auditor 3" role. In addition to those tasks, the scope of duties and tasks to be learned and performed includes: The ability to plan an audit in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
This position requires at least two years of experience operating as a Performance Auditor 3, and demonstration of proficiency in the entire audit planning tasks. In addition, experience in performing risk assessments, internal control assessments and scoping of audit work.
Principal Auditor 4: Minimum of three years' experience and able to demonstrate the ability to accurately, efficiently, independently, and professionally perform all of the tasks required of the "Performance Auditor 4" role. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
