• Conduct virtual individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing platforms, providing emotional support tailored to each client’s needs.
• Foster a safe and open environment for clients to discuss their emotions, experiences, and challenges, facilitating self-discovery and personal growth.
• Advocate for clients' needs by helping them set practical and achievable goals, guiding them through their therapeutic journey.
• Assess clients' mental health and well-being through comprehensive evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and solution-focused approaches.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently, ensuring accurate and confidential client records.

This role specifically focuses on working with stable adult clients who have low-acuity mental health concerns. All clients will undergo thorough pre-screening to ensure they are appropriate for virtual counseling and do not present with severe mental health cases. You will receive matched referrals based on your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a competent fit and enhancing the quality of care provided.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) without supervision.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with an ability to craft effective and individualized treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to connect with clients empathetically and respectfully.
• Proficiency in using technology and computer applications related to virtual counseling services.

• Experience working with online therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of telehealth practices is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in community health settings or outpatient mental health clinics may be beneficial.
• A background in evidence-based treatment approaches and familiarity with various psychological theories.

The annual salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000, based on the number of hours worked and experience level. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a monthly stipend for healthcare coverage to ensure our counselors’ well-being.
