Job description


The Security Administration Analyst is responsible for influencing & executing the organization's processes around user account provisioning, modification, and termination in various applications to ensure access is granted & remediated in accordance with the Identity & Access Control policy, established standards, and procedures for our healthcare organization.

Reports to the Manager of IT Security
Principal Responsibilities
  • Execute and enhance a process that is responsible for user account provisioning and all identity access management tasks in all the clinic's applications, including but not limited to, Active Directory, Office 365, EHR, Oracle Cloud and all of the organizations clinical and technology applications.
  • Assist in the development of a process & help coordinate on-boarding (especially the physician on-boarding process which would include access, coordination of training, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement of workflows, procedures and technology related to Identity & Access Management to enhance risk and control, business coordination and overall efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management structures/processes such as provisioning, entitlement certification, access removal and privileged access.
  • Work with staff, vendors, outside consultants, and other third parties to improve the identity access management posture of Springfield Clinic.
  • As assigned by department leadership, participates in researching new or improved tools and technologies in the marketplace which may lead to a more effective identity & access management posture within Springfield Clinic, as well as that of any partner organizations or peers.
  • Works directly with various leadership throughout the IT organization, including the Senior Director of Cyber Security, Information Security Manager, as well as other IT staff on a regular basis. Works with Clinic staff and vendors in support of Clinic information security requirements.
  • Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or at least 1-4 years of experience in Information Security and/or Information Technology, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge in at least one of the following IAM platforms: ForgeRock, Ping Identity, ADManage Engine, Azure, OneIdentity, or SailPoint.
  • Security + or Azure Identity & Access Management Certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with Powershell, Python scription is preferred.

  • Must be a mentor to peers and promote unity within the department.
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues to ensure the security and functionality of client systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including general knowledge of network infrastructure, Active Directory, and general identity access management policies.
  • Ability to communicate with a high level of effectiveness at all levels of the organization's workforce, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
  • Must possess the ability to obtain full support and cooperation from upper management and the executive level of the organization.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
