Job description

As our Sr. Front End Engineer, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

You’ll directly influence the future of our consumer lending journey by evolving our core credit origination platform. Leading primarily from the frontend—while collaborating across the backend and API layers—you'll be part of an Agile team to deliver secure, high-performance web and mobile solutions. Your work will turn complex financial workflows into intuitive, best-in-class digital experiences.

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members. Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit. Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more. As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More! We’re an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we’re taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

As our Sr. Front End Engineer, you will:

  • Contribute primarily to our Front End, as well as coordinating and ideally contributing across the full stack – backend, API layer, and frontend, collaborating positively and effectively across teams.
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, efficient, scalable, and reusable code that always protects customer privacy and confidentiality.
  • Be responsible for the quality of code delivered.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and optimization to ensure the performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility of web applications.
  • Act in a lead role, partnering with architects and Scrum team members to drive technical decisions in projects.
  • Extend existing system functionality based on user requirements; analyze code to identify areas for modification and maintain and support existing products.
  • Provide input on our architecture, data modeling, and APIs.
  • Consult with product managers to define, scope, and plan new features.
  • Partner with teammates to ensure cohesive, quality, and reusable solutions are produced.
  • Test, evaluate, and recommend technologies to improve our overall solutions.
  • Leverage AI tools to gain efficiency in all areas of SW development
  • Produce complete and coherent documentation.
  • Deliver general engineering and operational excellence.

These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. If your experience is close to what we're looking for, consider applying. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience, including Epic/Story writing and elaboration, technical design, coding, testing (unit, integration, and system testing with an emphasis on creating tests for automated execution), deployment, and the creation of documentation.
  • Demonstrated empathy for consumers and internal customers.
  • Proficiency in Drupal/PHP, React, JavaScript, Python, front-end libraries/frameworks, C#, ASP/ASP.Net, .NET Core, RESTful API, JSON, jQuery, SQL Server, and No-SQL databases.
  • Experience delivering Service Oriented Architectural solutions on either AWS or Azure.
  • Relevant experience in one or more of these technologies is desired: Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Durable Functions, Azure Functions, Transactional queues, Data Lake.
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipeline systems like Azure DevOps Pipeline, Terraform, TeamCity, Jenkins, Concourse, Hudson, and Bamboo or other relevant experiences.
  • Proficiency in CMS (content management system) and web services integrations, bonus if Acquia experience.
  • Expertise in ensuring quality with code development, including unit and integration testing as part of code complete.
  • Ability to adopt and contribute as needed to development standards. All work must be maintainable by the engineers who follow.
  • Eye for customer experience, application and data security, and code optimization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

What’s In It For You:

  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance for you and your family
  • Relax and recharge with Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 6 company-observed paid holidays, plus 3 paid floating holidays
  • 401k (after 90 days) plus employer match up to 4%
