SCHEDULE:  Full Time, Onsite 
TRAVEL REQUIRED:  50% - 75% 

Compensation: The salary range for this position is estimated to be $91,854.00 - $200,929.00 annualized, which reflects the company's current estimate of the potential compensation range at the time of posting. This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position and represents one component of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, qualifications, and allotted budget. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits program as part of its overall compensation strategy, and salary ranges are reviewed periodically to remain aligned with market conditions.

About Our Opportunity

The Director Retail Operations leads retail operations across multiple locations to deliver a consistent, customer-centric service experience that supports sales and lending performance. The DRO enhances operational effectiveness by streamlining workflows, reinforcing process consistency, and strengthening team capability to support execution across the retail network.

This role provides operational leadership for a defined function, aligning work with organizational goals and priorities. They build strong partnerships, lead complex initiatives, and create clarity for their teams. Directors foster a coaching culture, develop talent, and promote collaboration to advance shared outcomes across the Association.

How You Will Spend Your Time
  • Aligns and optimizes retail operations workflows and processes to support efficient, consistent delivery of sales and lending activities across locations.
  • Establishes, monitors, and enforces operating standards, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conducts loan reviews and evaluates findings to strengthen operational performance and inform decision-making and leader feedback.
  • Coordinates cross-functional execution of retail initiatives to improve customer experience, operational consistency, and performance outcomes.
  • Leads and develops retail operations team members across assigned markets, driving capability, engagement, and accountability for results within the function.
  • Cultivates external and industry relationships to share best practices, strengthen market insight, and enhance organizational reputation.
  • Provides clear goals, plans, and expectations that translate strategy into action.
  • Leads complex initiatives that improve performance, quality, or innovation.
  • Develops team members through coaching, feedback, and accountability.
  • Builds strong partnerships across the Association resulting in alignment and coordinated execution.
  • Exercises sound judgment to balance business needs, risk, and customer impact.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years relevant experience.
Mental & Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this role, team members typically sit for extended periods, use hands for computer and office tasks, and communicate verbally. Standing or walking may be required on a frequent basis, with occasional reaching, lifting, or moving items weighing up to ten pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision. The work environment generally involves a moderate noise level.
