Family Medicine Residency Program Director

The Family Medicine Residency Program Director is essential to the academic and clinical training of residents in family medicine. This role involves overseeing the creation, execution, and assessment of the residency program while ensuring adherence to ACGME accreditation standards and institutional guidelines. The Program Director will cultivate a supportive educational atmosphere that promotes professional development, working closely with faculty, administrative leaders, and clinical partners to influence the future of medical education.

This residency program will be a pioneering initiative in the Northwest, currently in the planning and development stage, with an expected launch for the intern class in July 2028. The Program Director will assume a pivotal leadership position in establishing and initiating the program, collaborating with the Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office, the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), and operational leadership to develop and implement the residency program.

What We Offer:

  • Education Support: Paid annual education leave along with an annual education allowance.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Extensive benefits package including largely employer-funded medical and dental insurance premiums, life insurance, and paid leave.
  • Liability Coverage: Complete professional liability coverage at no cost, along with 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunities.
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 for relocation expenses.
  • Sign-On Incentives: Generous sign-on bonuses of up to $150,000.
  • Loan Forgiveness Eligibility: Positions are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

We invite you to explore this exciting opportunity for the Program Director position and to contribute to the future of family medicine education.
