Job description

KPMG is building a product organization designed to help transform decades of industry experience into innovative, software-powered businesses. Backed by the scale, resources, and market presence of a global network, this organization operates with the energy, ambition, and pace of a startup. We are assembling a founding team of builders, innovators, and problem solvers who are excited by the opportunity to create new products, shape new ways of working, and help define the future of technology-enabled business at KPMG. If you thrive in entrepreneurial environments, embrace ambiguity, and are motivated by the potential to make a lasting impact from the ground up, we invite you to consider joining us on this journey.
KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Product Management to join our Product organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Shape strategy, development, and commercialization for product line, turning existing firm assets and emerging client solutions into an integrated software-powered business portfolio
  • Assess market opportunities across customer segments, client offerings, and use cases; Collaboratively recommend and jointly drive business cases, pricing, packaging, and investment recommendations with the offering leaders who own the business
  • Set integrated, multi-year product roadmaps, resolving competing priorities, dependencies, and investment trade-offs across products and teams
  • Partner with senior leaders across client delivery, technology, markets, pricing, and global and member firms to advance product launches and growth within applicable budget, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Define the metrics for product line and ensure the instrumentation exists to measure them: adoption, retention, revenue, and other business outcomes, and use that evidence to guide commercialization and roadmap decisions
  • Manage cross-functional team relationships to drive a cohesive approach to product development, delivery, and commercialization; help establish the product management craft at KPMG: the standards, artifacts, and operating rhythm a product organization runs on and build AI-native product line management capability across teams
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in product management, including owning a B2B or enterprise software product end to end
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school GED is required; or a minimum of twelve years of equivalent professional experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience taking products from early concept to market (i.e. Product strategy, roadmap ownership, and launch) across multiple products, customer segments, or markets
  • Deep understanding of product commercialization principles, methodologies, and best practices; Ability to think strategically and develop long-term product business plants that align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Demonstrated daily use of AI across working practice, and products that shipped or shaped where AI was core to the product rather than decorative as well as experience guiding market evaluation, business cases, pricing and packaging recommendations, commercialization plans, and product investment decisions
  • Ability to use market, customer, product, and financial insights to make complex product decisions, influence senior leaders, and drive commercial growth. Preferred functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) technology, including financial close, consolidation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), enterprise resource planning (ERP)-adjacent applications, and finance transformation platforms; or commercial banking and lending technology (origination, servicing, loan operations), Risk, compliance, and regulatory technology, including governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms, regulatory reporting solutions, model risk management, financial crime prevention and detection, and controls automation technologies
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
