We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Line Leader to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the nVent ILSCO and nVent ERIFLEX global product portfolios. This role is critical in leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that align with business goals and market demands. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of global markets, product lifecycle management, and stakeholder collaboration. You will be a key player in bridging the gap between product development and sales, ensuring our products resonate with our target audience and achieve their full market potential.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop strategic plans and convert them into annual growth plans with supporting functional objectives
  • Manage product portfolios and new product roadmaps
  • Develop and deploy annual capital expenditure plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of product line initiatives

Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to find opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Sales Enablement:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our products and provide ongoing sales support.
  • Develop and deliver sales training materials and tools to equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources they need to effectively sell our products.
  • Create sales playbooks, competitive battle cards, and other sales support resources.

Performance Measurement & Reporting:
  • Responsible for product line financial performance including annual target setting and quarterly forecasting
  • Establish objectives and key results to measure the effectiveness of product management and new product development initiatives.
  • Track and analyze product line performance data and present insights to executive leadership.
  • Use data-driven analysis to optimize revenue and profitability.

Leadership and Mentorship:
  • Manage and mentor Product Management team members.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the overall business strategy.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering Management, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Solid understanding of product positioning, messaging, and branding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong presentation abilities.
  • Product development and commercialization experience
  • 10+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$172,900.00 - $257,000.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
