Job Description

The HR Analytic Product Development team is seeking a Power BI Developer to join this fun, creative, and expanding team. The goal of this team is to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant data and insights for leaders about their workforce, allowing them to make informed, fact-based decisions to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

This role will support the development and maintenance of HR reporting and analytics products. The Power BI Developer will partner with product owners, business partners, and other team members to translate business needs into clear, accurate, and user-friendly reporting solutions.

This position is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports; preparing and transforming data; supporting data validation and quality checks; and helping present insights in a clear and concise manner. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Four to five years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Three to five years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related analytics role
- Two or more years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Experience importing, transforming, modeling, and visualizing data in Power BI
- Experience creating or maintaining DAX measures, table relationships, and report-level calculations

Experience working with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions
-Experience with SQL, Databricks, Python, or similar tools for querying, preparing, transforming, and analyzing data
- Experience building clear, intuitive, and visually effective dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including Copilot for Power BI or similar technologies, to improve productivity and reporting solutions
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, validation, and quality
- Ability to troubleshoot reporting issues and support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of analytics products
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, product owners, developers, and end users to deliver data-driven solutions
- Effective organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience working with HR data, workforce analytics, financial services data, or other business intelligence environments

Location Expectations:

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
