Position Overview

The Plant Operations Director willoversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all buildingstructures, electrical, mechanical, and emergency systems across theexpanding campus. This role requires a blend of technical expertise,leadership, and innovation to ensure operational excellence and regulatorycompliance in a resident-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and emergency systems to ensure continuous and safe operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead and train maintenance personnel to deliver high-quality service and support campus expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on capital projects, renovations, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and support a culture of safety and accountability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs and leads the entire Maintenance Team, setting goals and guidelines with quality improvements always in mind.  

Educational Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance or plant operations management experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
