Job description

) As the Maintenance Director (Plant Operations Director) at Emerald Valley, you are responsible for everything maintenance and play a critical role when it comes to ensuring that the community is attractive, well-maintained and that our residents are safe, secure and well taken care of.
What we look for in a Maintenance Director (Plant Operations Director):
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and building
  • Knowledge of fire and safety regulations
  • Ability to work with outside vendors and monitor their work
  • Experience in grounds maintenance, electrical and plumbing repair
  • Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
  • Innovative thinker who brings new ideas to the table
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

What you can expect to do as a Maintenance Director (Plant Operations Director):
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance of interior and exterior of buildings and equipment
  • Make repairs in occupied apartments and renovate turn-over units for new residents moving in
  • Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
  • Willing and able to adapt to changing demands of the maintenance department and fulfill any job that is required
  • Available and on call for emergencies day and night
  • Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
  • Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
